Our story
A nursing home that grew with the families it serves.
Mamta opened in Vejalpur in 2008 as a small maternity home with one promise: every mother is looked after the way we would look after our own. Many families who had their first baby with us have come back for the next one.
As more families came from across the west of the city, we opened a second unit in Makarba. Both units follow the same care, the same records and the same team, so you can visit whichever is closer.

Dr. Hiren Suthar
Obstetrician & Gynaecologist · Sonologist · Laparoscopic surgeon
Dr. Suthar has looked after mothers at Mamta since the first unit opened. He sees patients at both units, does the scans himself and stays with the same family through pregnancy, delivery and the years after.

Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome during OPD hours. Booking ahead by phone or with the form below shortens your wait.
Can I visit either unit?
Yes. Your file is shared between Vejalpur and Makarba, so you can be seen at either one.
When is my first pregnancy scan?
Usually between 6 and 10 weeks to confirm the pregnancy and date it. The week-by-week guide above shows the scans that follow.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Any earlier reports, scans and prescriptions, a list of medicines you take, and the date your last period started.
Is there a pharmacy on site?
Yes. Medicines prescribed by the doctor are available at the in-house pharmacy.
What if it's an emergency?
Call either unit directly. Both units are open 24 hours.
